Went by on a Thursday evening and the salon was empty . I appreciate that the nail tech actually cleaned my cuticles . Not a 5 star rating because the sides of my nails aren’t completely coated . Will give them a try again.

The nail tech did a great job with shaping & prepping. However, the gel paint job was rushed (went over edges) and did not fully set with the plug in lamp. I left feeling like my nails were tacky. I had splurged in order to keep a great manicure throughout 2 weeks of weddings & travel, which should be a no brainer for properly applied gel… unfortunately my nails chipped in 1 week and the manicure is peeling off the edges. I now have to figure out how to get them fixed in a foreign country.

Got a powder manicure. They had very few color options (I don’t know if they had more and just didn’t bother to show me the rest, but I assume they showed me what they had) but I’m not too picky about that, so I just picked one. Fine, whatever. Manicure itself was ok at first, but the tech didn’t use a dremel at all and sanded my skin several times w the file (to the point where I bled when I lightly touched it the next day). I was very polite and she was pretty rude to me and definitely said some pretty nasty things under her breath that I couldn’t make out. Whatever, I still wasn’t mad - accidents happen, and I just assumed she was tired from working hard. When it was finished, it wasn’t my favorite manicure ever but didn’t look bad either, so I was fine with it. 2 days later it starts to chip, and now half my nails are chipped. I usually use 3-4 different salons depending on where I am (but tried a new one because I was in the area), and my powder manicure always lasts 3 weeks and very rarely chips within that long time frame. For the money I paid it should not look like this. It’s only been a week :/ I don’t know if they use cheap powder or what. I won’t be returning.

WARNING: if you don’t want to lose your hard working earned money, do not go to this establishment. They charge different prices, the few times that I have been there. I went there on one occasion and I was charged a certain price and on my second visit I was charged something completely different. When asked about the different price change, the Spanish lady had a very nasty attitude about it. Also, the nails chip even with gel! I do not recommend this nail salon whatsoever as they do poor work and lack in customer service. There’s better nail salons around town.

The service in this place is terrible! I do dip powder in my nails for 3 years in another place called Queen nails spa at 30 ave in Astoria.
I went this place 5 days ago because I wanted to try this place because it us close my house.
Well, my nails as long and perfect before to go this place . My nails was so healthy that the lady that works in this place was impressed with my nails .
Anyway, I went this place and ask for dip powder gel and pedicure almost $70. After 3 days my nails started to broken. I came back this nails salon to fix. The lady that tried to fix my nails told me that was my fault and she didn’t say sorry or anything and she was doing my nails so terrible that I asked her to stop because I didn’t want to get more upset! She didn’t fix my nails and lost my money on it !!! If you are smart you Don’t come in this place !

Went in and the people were nice but the lady was very rushed doing my gel set. I took a shower a few hours later and had 3 chipped nails, I went back the same day and they were very snarky with me. They fixed the nails but she was very harsh taking the nails off. In less than a week (about 5 days) I have had 2 nails chip and one nail has 2 chips in it. I get gel a lot and have never had this many issues. I think the gal was more concerned about finishing my nails than doing them properly.

Whoever is working there and owns it now does not know what they’re doing. They could not even cut and file my nails straight and couldn’t understand what I was saying when I told them that. Never have I walked out of a nail salon but I did this time.

My experience here was amazing. My powder nails are really nice and are in good shape after 3 weeks. The employees are really sweet and kind.
