We were recommended to eat here by our AirBnB host and Oh My Goodness It was amazing. The service and staff were great, fun and helpful. The food was off the charts and you know price wise it was definitely worth it. We had the ribeye share plate and the hummus appy and it literally blew our socks off. Eat. At. This. Place. Or forever regret it you will. Thanks for the memories and the fantastic after burbs ...

Both the drink and the squash starter were great, Paige was our server and she was incredibly kind and thoughtful. I mentioned I didn’t enjoy one item (without expecting anything), and she went ahead and removed it from the bill — such a generous gesture. You should only pay for what you truly enjoy, and that kind of service really stands out. Also, the fact that they were open on Victoria Day was a bonus! Great people, great food, and genuinely great service.

The food was actually great 👍 I had a smash burger with fries and no complaints there. But the service? It was so bad it almost felt like a prank.

My boyfriend and I were seated and handed menus… then ignored for over 20 minutes. No water, no check-in just pure silence. When someone finally came by to ask what we wanted to drink and if we were ready to order, we jumped on the chance. But a few minutes later, another staff member came over trying to hand us menus, we already ordered. Does anyone there talk to each other?

When the food arrived, we were offered dips and asked for vinegar for the fries… which never showed up. And that was the last we saw of our server until the end of the meal. Meanwhile, we watched other tables get multiple friendly check-ins like they were VIPs. We couldn’t help but feel like we’d done something to offend them just by existing.

We came in excited for dinner, left wondering what on earth we did to deserve the cold shoulder. Great kitchen, but front-of-house needs a serious reality check.

My eleven year old loved the Cassette smash burger and his mango Italian soda. I had the rockfish sandwich. Yum! Fried piece of fish, no batter, with fried hash brown. YUM! The chicken sandwich was delicious and the chicken bites without the sauce were very good. Definitely worth the stop. We would eat here again

Second time here- rockfish burger -absolutely outstanding! We fish and catch our own too so we know what fresh taste like! Pasta rigatoni with meatballs was delicious as well- wonderful service very helpful and friendly -

Awesome local pub in Ganges. Burger is fantastic — definitely recommend. Super friendly waitress made the visit so cool! Love this place; it’s not really a “dive bar” but the atmosphere is super cool.

So so good!! We went here 4 times during our salt spring visit we liked it so much. The steak is incredible, the peppercorn sauce they make is out of this world. We also tried the Oklahoma burger, a couple of the salads, the pasta, and feature rhubarb dessert that was all great. Another star of the show for us was the octopus garden cocktail, truly one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had, the salted pineapple foam is inventive and delicious. Also loved the art!!

Immaculate vibes and inventive cocktails at this converted service station. We had the Korean Cauliflower Bites, Fried Chicken Sandwich, and Oklahoma Smash Burger. Delicious!
