After seeing his work in Folklife magazine, I was taken by the ways Sydney plays with light. When the opportunity presented itself to book a session, there wasn't a moment of hesitation – and he more than delivered. I wanted one photo to throw at "meet the team" bios for work and my online profiles, but gave him free rein of the session beyond that. Sydney had my photos back quickly and no words can describe how happy I was with the results of our winter morning hike. I was hoping for one photo I didn't hate and ended up with a whole album of ones I loved. For a person who would much rather be behind the camera, I felt so comfortable working with Syd.
His gentle manner put me at ease while his confidence supported me to go out of my comfort zone, just enough, to capture shots that I really wanted. Our time was lovely and I have so many different types of photos to use for both personal & professional photos.

We had family photos done and they turned out beautifully. I would recommend Syd as a photographer. We live on Pender Island and he was able to incorporate the magnificent landscape into the photos as well. The photos were sent back to me very quickly which was appreciated.

This photography studio is amazing. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Sydney is so talented and such a pleasure to work with. Great location and the photos are some of the best ever taken of me.
