Photoshoots are scary and I did not arrive at my best. I was stressed, exhausted and I had thought many times of cancelling but my intuition was telling me... 'just trust and show up as you are'.

I am SO happy I did!

Alison provided a safe place for me to fall into, taking care of me.

She helped me decide on the outfits that worked best for my vision\colours...by arranging my hair and makeup to be done and creating a music list that helped me relax, dance and get out of my head and into my body.

The session was filled with lots of laughter, lightness and joy.

Alison saw what was on the "inside" and captured it in her photos... bringing it to the outside.

Doing a session with Alison WILL fuel your soul! And she will capture your soul in a way that nobody quite has. You will NOT regret a session with her.

I am not a fan of having my photo taken - at all! So having to get new headshots I was expecting the experience to difficult for me to manage. However Alison creates such a relaxing and welcoming environment that you find yourself easing into the experience. She manages to make you feel relaxed, confident and captures a truly authentic version of yourself on camera! I will say I even had fun by the end of it!

Saying I'm camera shy is an understatement. I'm more of a behind-the-scenes person. I don't know how she did it, but Alison made me forget I was even getting my photo taken! I felt like I was just having a fun time, almost like performing a shopping montage in a romcom 🙂 She has a remarkable ability to capture her subject's personality and bring out the best in them.
I was nervous to look at the proofs because from past experience, I was hoping at least one headshot would work. Instead, I was so happily surprised that I found myself trying to narrow my choices down. Before I reviewed the proofs, she made sure I understood that certain things would be addressed in the edits. For example, she mentioned everyone has shadows under their eyes and flyaway hair, etc. Her edits were amazing! The photo still looked completely natural but the minor things that initially caught my attention were gone! I can't recommend Alison highly enough. Her work is outstanding, and her kindness and dedication make the entire experience a joy!
