Absolutely loved visiting this studio my first time!! I took my friend there for her bachelorette celebration and the whole process was so easy and smooth!! The staff member was so nice and was extremely helpful! The pictures turned out so nice and it’s great they let you keep all the digital copies! So happy with how everything turned out. Would definitely recommend brainstorming some poses beforehand to maximize your time. The self portrait concept is really cool and allowed us to be comfortable and not awkward haha 😅 Would definitely recommend for a fun time and activity to do 🥰 I will be coming back for sure!

I had an amazing experience at Memoir Self Portrait Studio for my graduation photo! From the moment I walked in, the space felt welcoming and beautifully set up. The equipment was easy to use, and the lighting made every shot look professional. I loved having the freedom to pose and express myself in my own time it really helped capture this special moment just the way I imagined.

The staff was kind, helpful, and made sure everything went smoothly without being intrusive. I couldn’t be happier with how my photos turned out they’re not just pictures, they’re memories I’ll cherish forever. Highly recommend Memoir to anyone looking to celebrate a milestone or just capture a beautiful self-portrait!

Our group of girls had a wonderful experience here, so easy, fun and memorable! The pictures came out so beautiful and working with Jen that day was a breeze. The setting was nice, the props were modern and have different items to spruce up our photos. Would definitely be back for more great pictures with different people!

Love this place! I've been to a few self-portrait studios and this one is my favourite, I've already been twice. The space is super clean, the washroom is nice, and the owner is so friendly and welcoming. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. We were nervous the first time since we didn’t know what to expect, but it turned out to be really fun and we got the hang of it within minutes.

I’ve only done the 2-person package, which includes full-body shots in a larger room and closer, upper-body shots in a second, smaller room (I think it's 20min and 10min in the rooms respectively). I appreciate how clearly the prices are listed on the website too.

If you get prints, the turnaround is fast, they’re edited and printed on photo paper, placed in a protective sleeve, and ready in about 10 minutes. FREE PARKING is available in the downstairs parkade, this is usually such a pain in downtown. When you arrive, you’ll wipe your shoes with wet wipes to help keep the white studio backdrops clean.

During the session, there's an iPad for pose ideas, a large screen so you can see yourself, a small black clicker to take photos, and some stools/chairs as props. I think you can request to bring your own props ahead of time, but I've never tried.

Tips:
1) Coordinate outfits ahead of time. Bring 1-2 outfit changes - you have time, and the rooms are private.

2) Research some pose ideas that play with shapes (arms/legs) and height (one sitting, one standing, etc.).

3) Don’t forget to look at the camera lens and NOT THE SCREEN! It’s easy to get distracted, but your eyes will look off in the final photo if you don’t focus on the lens.

Overall, a super fun experience. Great quality photos (even unedited), reasonable prices, and you get digital copies of all unedited shots, which I think is a great deal. Highly recommend!

Had an amazing experience! Absolutely recommend to anyone looking to take self portraits. Lots of parking available underground. Clear instructions on how to get to the location and how to use the equipment. The space is clean. One of the owners helped us and she was really friendly. 10/10 experience.

Came here to take some portraits with my friends for graduation! The set up was clean and the photos all turned out amazing. We were allowed to choose our own prints and the whole process was super fun! Thank you to the staff who helped us because she was super kind and patient !!

Such a fun experience! Not like other photo studios—amazing lighting and setup. There are two studio rooms: one for group shots (or full-body) and the other for portrait styles. I’m in love with how my photos came out—the lighting is perfect!

Brought my toddler here and got such beautiful photos. He wiggles a lot, and it's usually hard to get good shots of him, but at the studio, we got so many great ones! The clicker and private room are perfect for kids. Definitely will be coming back to take photos when he graduates kindergarten!

One of my favorite places to visit when I go to Vancouver. The scheduling and booking is so organized, so don't forget to book! On top of it all parking is really easy, and the customer service is excellent!

My girlfriend and I visited this studio while we were visiting Vancouver - we were pleasantly surprised by the level of professional camera and lighting equipment. You have the whole room to yourself during the shoot - so you definitely feel more comfortable taking pictures. Price was fair and I am very pleased with my new Linkedin profile picture.

I will definitely get giftcards for my friends and family. Owner Jennifer was kind and did great job providing final editing touches to photo prints.
