Came here to see the show Anastasia. The actress who played Anastasia was phenomenal! The play was lovely. As for the Arts Center itself.. the food and beverages are very reasonably priced. There was not a bad seat in the house, and you could get a great view no matter where you were seating. The only negative I have to mention is that I wish there was an usher keeping watch during the shows I had an individual sitting a few rows in front of me using the flashlight on his camera to ready the playbill and was on his phone constantly during the show. It was very distracting and took away from the experience. Aside from that, everything was great

We’ve been here multiple times and the shows have been truly amazing. But today, during the fantastic performance of Hairspray, there’s a clear problem with the fog machine. The smell of burnt something is overwhelming. During intermission I mentioned this to the house manager and she dismissed my concern like the smell was coming from me. I fail to see why the entire show needs to be cloaked in fog as if the entire thing was a dream sequence or we were in London. The last show we saw here was Jekyll and Hyde, which was in London, had less fog and no smell. Our entire party of six feels this way but clearly the event staff are nose blind. This is a distraction from an otherwise great show and a management disappointment.

I have been a subscriber to this theater for several years and have always had a wonderful experience. However, while the performances of Hairspray were overall quite good, the use of the fog machine during virtually the entire performance was painful. I fail to see why the entire production had to be enveloped in fog -- or was it supposed to be hairspray -- as if it were a dream sequence from Oklahoma or the bowels of the Paris operahouse in Phantom of the Opera. The machine obviously needed to be cleaned because there was a burned smell enveloping the first 4+ rows. The housestaff was rude when this was brought to their attention stating, "It's just water." repeatedly. Multiple audience members' eyes were burning and negative comments were plentiful. I rarely will post a review on line, but since the housestaff really couldn't be bothered to investigate or even show cursory concern, this is the recourse. If they don't clean out that machine soon, COPD and asthma patients had better not sit up front.

I went to see a performance last weekend. As a former dancer and performer, I clearly saw that they do not practice in this theater at all. While the performances were lovely the anouncer, the constant screaming from parents and performers took away from the show. They mentioned constantly the championships won and certain performers etc it felt like a complete novice show. There was no real structure to the show, and most importantly, there was no respect for the artist and the crowd. I felt like I was in a high school after-school talent show...

In the Heights was hands down one of THE BEST shows I have ever seen! I could see every performance and still wish it ran longer. The CAST, the SETS, the DIRECTION all PHENOMENAL. How can we get Lin Manuel to see this production?!?! I think he’d be BLOWN AWAY! Thank you for creating this iconic masterpiece. It will live forever in my heart and soul.

The White Plains Performance Arts Center is a premier and spectacular performing arts theater in White Plains, New York.

It has featured numerous classic and modern theatrical shows, Broadway musicals, concerts and other performing attractions.

In December of 2021, I brought and treated my wife and myself to see “A Christmas Carol” at the White Plains Performance Arts Center.

“A Christmas Carol” is superb Christmas theme musical and my wife and I enjoyed the show from start to finish.The cast performed brilliantly in every aspect.Their acting, singing and dancing was flawlessly executed and highly entertaining!!!

What my wife and I love most about the White Plains Performance Arts Center are its seating, because it is very comforting, provides great spacing between you and fellow patrons and positions you with great views of the stage no matter where you sit.

Both my wife and I definitely give two thumbs up to the White Plains Performance Arts Center and highly recommend that you visit and watch a performance at this great theater!!!

Just saw Beautiful - The Carole King Musical! It was phenomenal! The cast were all amazing and talented performers. Loved the intimacy of the theatre. It’s a true Broadway experience without having to go into the city. Can’t wait to see another show here!

Wonderful place has all one need from food shopping, eating, movies, cafe, reading, air conditioning, will not find hard to spend most of your day here. Wish you could find time visit when have a chance.
